We have identified a number of projects for NOVAAR that we would like to accomplish during this year. They will be dscussion items at the February meeting on Monday, 6 February. Please review the list and determine which projects you could help complete.
The NOVAAR membership roster has been carefully reviewed over the past three months to verify its accuracy. There are a number of listings that remain unverified and must be updated prior to section charter renewal at the end of February..
Because of irregularities in scheduling the Braddock Road Government Center, NOVAAR has had to move our normal meeting date to the first Monday of each month. It is hoped that efforts underway will allow NOVAAR to resume meeting on the first Tuesday of each month as has been the case for the past two decades,
There will be a sport launch at Great Meadow from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, 28 January. The launch will be for club members and TARC competitors. Set up starts at 9 am. Volunteers wellcome to help. Normal high power waiver of 4500 ft will be in effect.

There is no meeting on Tuesday 6 December. Next event is the holiday party on11 Dec. Please sign up for a potluck dish and bring items for the auction.
The November meeting will be held on 8 November at the Springfield Government Center on Rolling Road. The center is located just south of Springfield High School. The program is "A Night at the Movies', a collection of rocketry videos.
Girl Scout Adventure Day will be held at the Prince William County Fairgrounds on 15 October. NOVAAR will provide a small information booth, display rockets and a small scale launch if the space and contitions are satisfactory. Set up will start at 1130 with schedled launch time of 1 pm tp 2 pm. The display will close at 3 pm. We will be colocated with the R/C folks.
